Even though we have many many days of yom tov coming we decided to have some friends over for lunch this week. My kids are super excited and so am I!
Of course DH will be helping with some of the cooking, but I feel like I’m on top of the world because by Wednesday night we had already done most of the shopping. All we need to buy is challah and we’re all set! Oh, and we need to finish cooking all of the food…
Here’s what we’re having:
- Stuffed chicken capons (freezer)
- Baked sweet potatoes
- Steamed string beans
- Gefilte fish
- Cholent with kishka
- Chicken cutlets
- Homemade carrot kugel
- Potato kugel
We bought some melon for dessert and will serve it with some brownies!
