3 Things I Love – Chopsticks, Pens and Toner

Whenever I come across something new and awesome I always want to share it with you on the blog. The only problem is that life gets in the way or I forget about it and never end up blogging about it.

I want to change that! I’ve recently had 3 awesome new things in my life and I’ve written myself a note about them so I won’t forget to tell you. And while the mix of items on this list may seem odd, I’m really just glad I have the time to write about them!

Training Chop Sticks (#1)

Last year my brother and sister-in-law went to Japan. Like any good aunt and uncle they wanted to buy my kids a gift. Since they couldn’t find the right Pokemon, they bought these training chop sticks.

My kids love these and I think I like them even more. You see, I’m a sushi newbie. I was never into sushi and didn’t particularly care for it. Now, with my older age my palate has matured and I like the sushi with cooked salmon. But being that I’m a novice I still do not know how to use regular chopsticks, so I use these. It makes eating sushi feel more authentic without the struggle of getting those sticks to work.

Thayers Toner (#2)

During the summer I always felt dirty… like sweaty dirty and I noticed that my sister’s skin looked amazing.  I was so jealous until I decided that it was time I took care of myself.  She recommended this toner and I love it.  I put it on in the morning when I wake up and again at night before I go to sleep and I feel like it removes all the yuckiness.  I sometime put on some moisturizer after I use this, but that’s only if I’m feeling really dry.

New Pens with Needle Point (#3)

Sometimes it’s the little things in life that can make your day feel a bit brighter. Enter my new pen. I use it when I’m working from home and have to scribble notes and I love it. Enough said.

And that’s all for now. What have you been loving lately?

Until next time,
